Who we are
Bright Solutions Electrical Services is a licensed electrical contractor based in Spring, Texas (TX Electrical Contractor License #34414). This policy covers the website at brightsolutionelectrical.com.
What you give us
If you fill in the quote form, we receive the information you type into it: your name, your phone number, your city, an email address if you choose to give one, and whatever you write in the message box. The email address is optional, everything else on that form is there because we need it to call you back.
If you call, text or email us using the links on this site, we get whatever that method normally shares: your phone number or email address.
What we collect automatically
When you submit the quote form, our system also records the IP address the submission came from, which page you were on, which page you first landed on, where you arrived from (for example a Google search or a link on another site), and your Google Analytics identifier. We use this to understand which parts of the site actually help people find us. It is attached to your enquiry so we can see where it came from.
This site uses Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies in your browser to recognise repeat visits and measure how the site is used. If you would rather not be measured, most browsers let you block cookies, and Google offers an opt-out add-on.
What we do with it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry and to carry out the work if you hire us. We may contact you by phone, text or email about the job you asked about.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not add you to a marketing list without you asking.
Who else sees it
Three parties, and only in service of running this site:
Handled (handledlocal.com) builds and maintains this website for us. Quote form submissions are delivered to Handled as well as to us, so that any technical problem with the form is spotted quickly and no enquiry gets lost.
Amazon Web Services hosts this website and delivers the quote form emails. Your submission passes through their infrastructure in the United States.
Google receives website usage data through Google Analytics, as described above.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Quote requests arrive as email and stay in our inbox and in Handled's inbox. We keep enquiries and job records for as long as we need them for the work, our warranty obligations and our tax records. Website analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email brightsol.electrical@gmail.com or call (713) 474-0131 and we will sort it out. If you ask us to delete your enquiry, we will, unless we still need it for a job in progress or for our records.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and quote form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we do not ask for anything sensitive on this form, and you should never send payment details, card numbers or passwords through it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
